Dr. Joseph W. Henderson is the founder and Senior Pastor of Celebrate New Life Tabernacle Outreach and Family Worship Center, Inc. (CNLT).  Pastor Joseph and Cynthia Henderson are natives of Tallahassee and he is the son of Willie and Alberta Henderson, also of Tallahassee, Florida.  He was licensed and ordained by the Church of God in Christ, Inc., on July 5, 1987 by Bishop Charles E. Blake.

 

Pastor Henderson later received ordination credentials under the ministry of Harvest Time Evangelistic Center (HTEC), Inc., where Bishop Shelton Bady serves as Senior Bishop.  HTEC is a non-denominational Christian fellowship, which serves as the ministry covering for CNLT.

 

On January 29, 2016, Pastor Henderson and several members of CNLT journeyed to Houston, Texas; the home of Harvest Time Evangelistic Center (HTEC) to bear witness to his consecreation, ordination and licensing ceremony as a newly appointed Bishop.

 

Bishop Henderson's formal educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics from the Florida A&M University and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the University of Biblical Studies in Bethany, Oklahoma.  Upon graduating from Florida A&M University, he received his Commission as an Ensign and Lieutenant in the Unites States Navy where he served for seven years.  Additionally, Bishop Henderson has earned a Master of Arts in Theology from the Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburg, Indiana.  In March of 2009, he was honored by the conferring of a doctor of divinity degree from Saint Thomas Christian University of Jacksonville, FL.  Bishop Henderson is currently a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) at Trinity Theological Seminary.
